My second 4×4 love was a used Jeep CJ7 with a 302 V8.
I’m pictured below in Sonoma Valley visiting my cousin Ed at the winery he worked at. The Jeep was a beast with a four barrel carb, dual side exhaust, and three speed on the floor.
Over the years I added a winch, strong boxes, and other improvements. I sold the Jeep after a long road trip up to Canada and back. The trip beat us up as the Jeep was not really highway worthy – it was a very long trip!
You could hear this jeep from a mile off and to this day I have a warm spot for Jeeps!
