I had some spare time on Mother’s Day Weekend and decided to take a quick trip up to Mount Laguna. I heard that Big Laguna lake was full from recent rains and wanted to see it before summer dried it up.
If you’ve not taken the short trip up to Mt. Laguna you should consider doing so. In a short hour or so drive you go from San Diego into the Mountains. I often camp at the Laguna Meadow Campground for several days, both in summer and fall.
